About Mr. Bischoff

Chad Bischoff has served as the Director of Bands for Bangor Township Schools since 2023. He attended Fraser High School, and earned earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Central Michigan University, where he was recognized as a Presser Scholar. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education degree through the American Band College of Central Washington University. 

Prior to Bangor Township, Mr. Bischoff substitute taught, taught private saxophone lessons, and worked with marching bands throughout the state. He has also served on staff at music camps across Michigan, including Interlochen Center for the Arts. His experiences as both a performer and educator continue to shape his passion for music education and student growth.

Mr. Bischoff is passionate about providing unique & memorable performance experiences to the students. His goal is to help each student feel confident in the music so they can have an expressive and meaningful performance. To him, band is about far more than music. Through band, students develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, confidence, time management, and perseverance while building friendships and memories that last a lifetime. His goal is to create a positive environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and proud to be part of something bigger than themselves.
